CCF Class Descriptions

 

Barbell Mixx :  Training is focused on all of the major muscle groups with the use of weights, bands, cable machines, balls, and other resistance props. Move through various exercises with the goal of increasing overall body strength and fitness. Strength training exercises will be paired with cardio interval training to improve condition of the heart.

Barre : Blends the best of Pilates, toning, strength, and yoga in a safe and effective class. Focuses on strengthening and engaging the core, improving balance using functional movement while increasing muscle tone. Light dumbbells and resistance bands may be used.

 

Cardio Kickbox Combo : Spend the first half of class kicking your cardio into overdrive! The last half of the class will focus on various core work exercises and a stretching cool down.

 

Chair Yoga : Gentle yoga practiced while sitting on, or utilizing a chair for support and balance. Modern yoga poses adopted to focus on stretching and gentle strength training. Breathwork incorporated -which can also help with stress reduction and better sleep.

 

Flow and Flex Yoga : The best of both worlds of yoga – warm up quickly with a breath and movement based flow and spend the last half of class getting the benefits of deep, holding stretches. Good for anyone looking for the benefits of both the quick and slow of a complete practice.

 

HIIT : High-Intensity Interval Training is intervals of cardio movement combined with intervals of strength exercises using weights. Modifications are offered for all movements but the theme of the class is to “get tired!” Your body will continue to burn calories well after you leave the studio.

 

Mat Pilates : A low-impact, floor-based class using traditional Pilates movements – a challenging, but accessible way to build core strength, improve alignment, posture, and balance. 

Mixed Level Yoga : Suitable for all levels of yogis – includes modifications and progressions – slowly build heat internally and work to connect breath and movement – hold stretches and postures to build into flowing sequences – great for strength, flexibility, stress management, among the many other benefits of a regular consistent physical yoga practice.

 

Stability Ball Strength : An express, but efficient way to blast your core using the large stability ball and sometimes light weights or other resistance props. You will feel the deep burn of all the different abdominal muscles being worked.

 

Strength Training Basics : Get down to the foundations of a total body strength training routine- work on proper form, and all the details to feel confident, strong, and empowered.

 

STRONG NATION : Stop counting the reps. Start training to the beat. STRONG Nation™ combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio, and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been designed to match every single move. This is a demanding hour-long session that is sure to help you meet your fitness goals!

 

STRONG 30 : If you’ve got 30 minutes, you’ve got time to crush the only music-led HIIT workout! Whatever your fitness goals are, this total-body workout is the perfect addition to your workout routine!

 

Zumba : Mixes low and high-intensity cardio moves for a calorie-burning dance fitness party with hand weights used at the end for toning. Helps with muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility, and boosts energy- all while having fun!
